I took the plunge and got one for myself. I'd been rather jealous of all my mates who have one of these maps. It's so thrilling to scratch off a new country! I've hung mine above my bed and arranged travel photos around it. The most stunning focal point in my room. Any adventurer ought to have one of these maps.

What I Was Doing While You Were Breeding
This book was suggested to me through the Girls LOVE Travel Facebook group. I must say it's fantastic! I'm always on the hunt for a good read while travelling (or even when I'm home) and I'm delighted I discovered this one. I'd strongly suggest this book. I reckon I ought to write a whole post about books to read while travelling.

An ideal present for keeping all your travel essentials neat and tidy. I always carry mine when I travel! It keeps my boarding pass, passport, crucial paperwork, and everything else sorted and in a single spot whilst travelling. This proves invaluable at the airport. You won't need to rifle through your luggage, hunting for something, whilst those behind you in the queue grow increasingly frustrated because obviously, this is your maiden voyage.

Oh, goodness. I owned one of these once, but during my relocation from the US to Australia, it got damaged. My bag has become a chaotic mess of misplaced items. Locating anything feels hopeless! Every adventurer should have a travel diary! Whether it's an unfilled journal, a travel bucket list, or a travel diary with guided prompts, it's an essential travel companion! I myself carry a compact journal that records where I travelled, where I stayed, who I encountered, plus space for notes about each trip. It features a holiday packing checklist, a section for accommodation details, and a space to record contact details and postal addresses of those who receive my postcards.

That's it. That right there is any traveller's ideal present. Why settle for a $20 Starbucks gift card when an airline gift card worth $20 could work? It may not cover an entire journey but that $20 saving on an airfare could mean several days of meals and experiences in a distant location!

My thirst for travel is endless. Upon returning from journeys, my heart yearns to explore further afield. I've discovered some wonderful home décor that resonates with my passion. Given that I collect museum tickets, boarding passes, and other keepsakes from the many destinations I've visited, I stash those mementos away in storage books featuring a world map or the relevant country. These books sit naturally amongst my collection, making it simple to revisit memories whenever I fancy a nostalgic journey.
